A 100Gbps laser communication terminal based on space certified Telcordia grade 1550nm telecom components. The μLCT ™ 100 boasts a total ionization dose tolerance of 30 krads (Si) with a SEL threshold of> 60 MeV-cm2 / mg, SEFI immunity, and the option to reach up to 100 krads (Si). SpaceMicro's μLCT100 is a complete solution consisting of an optical modem, optical power amplifier, pointing, acquisition, tracking (PAT) electronics, and an optical head. The μLCT100 can be used as an OISL (Optical Inter-Satellite Link), a spacecraft-to-ground link, or a spacecraft-to-UAV link.
