This sensor is based on a simple but reliable principle. It uses a specially shaped pinhole baffle and PSD (Position Sensing Device). The electronics are behind the PCB and contain all the necessary circuitry such as op amps, ADCs and µC. Our sensors have very low power consumption. The data is delivered via the I2C bus. Recalibration or configuration can be done using the I2C bus or through the connector on the top of the PCB that provides advanced debugging capabilities. Our sensors come with coarse or fine calibration, but can also be purchased without calibration. The sensor module can be combined with our CubeSat solar array, but it is also suitable for use in microsatellite projects.
