The Fine Spinning Adcole Sun Sensor offers better accuracy and resolution than the Miniature Spinning Sun Sensor. This is a redundant system consisting of one optical head per redundant electronic channel. It is used for orbiting rotating spacecraft, getting the sun, and fail-safe recovery.
